Ngorongoro Crater Day Trip Itinerary

05:30 AM – Depart from your accommodation (e.g., Arusha, Moshi, or Karatu).

08:30 AM – Arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Gate.

09:00 AM – Begin descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

09:30 AM – 02:00 PM – Game drive inside the crater. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly black rhinos.

12:30 PM – Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool.

02:30 PM – Begin ascent out of the crater.

03:00 PM – Drive back to your accommodation.

06:30–07:30 PM – Arrival back at your lodge/hotel (depending on location).
